My name is Jason Rowe, I was born in Yeovil, Somerset in the southwest of England and I am a singer songwriter. I had no direct musical influences where I grew up but my musical talent became apparent
from the age of 10, when I began playing the drums. I was instantly infected by this new world and I progressed by teaching myself piano, guitar, and bass throughout my teens. Big idols such as "The Beatles",
"Prince" and "Marvin Gaye" entered my life and made the decision clear: I had to become a musician. After moving to London, I worked with a singer-songwriter-producer and wrote and recorded a first - my first
album "Heaven". The project went under the name JAI, and I was instantly signed to RCA Records in New York. The album was well received in the states, many magazine editors classed it in their 'top 10 albums
of the year'. After two years of living in New York, promoting and touring with the Album, I decided to moved back to the UK.

I needed some time off to get new ideas and I continued writing songs. After a while I picked up my guitar and went on the road on my own, touring Europe and playing in small bars and clubs. Berlin caught
my fascination. The fresh, open minded and creative atmosphere gave me the feeling I was in the right place, so I moved here. Playing many gigs I was getting a good fan base and I met my new manager. I wrote
songs for the biggest German Hip Hop band, "The Fantastic Four", who are signed to the largest indie label, "Four Music". This really opened doors and I got a record deal with the label. I have just completed
and co produced my first solo album, recorded in Los Angeles at "The Studio" at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. Here I am with "Lovelife". The big idols from back then and today, the ups and downs of my life and short
moments taken from the here and now - its all in there, its all Jason, its all me.
